Really grateful to Little Steven Van Zandt for mentioning myself, along with Kurt Baker, Soraia and The Connection in an interview with Forbes this month. Little Steven has been a champion of rock n’ roll for many years now, and his continued support for artists such as myself is appreciated more than he could ever know. Thanks Little Steven!
ALSO: Don’t forget, I’m coming to a town near you with The Dirty Gems THIS NOVEMBER! Just added Ralph’s Rock Diner in Worcester, MA! Check out the “Shows” tab for show details and tickets!

Happy New Year to all you rock n’ rollers out there! And everyone else too, I guess. 2016 is going to be a great year for rock n’ roll and I hope to see you all at some point before 2017! I’ve got a lot in the works with a new album, new EP to follow, heading back to Spain, jamming with friends, and much more!
This month I’ll be heading out west to sit in with fellow garage rock n’ rollers Soraia, at Echoplex in L.A. for the The Muff’s 25th Anniversary show! Also on the bill as direct support is Prima Donna, so it’s not one you want to miss if you’re in the area! It’s a Little Steven’s Underground Garage show, as well as being hosted by Mighty Manfred of The Woggles, and a great UG DJ in his own right. I’ve got more news for this April, but first let’s get pumped for L.A.!
We’ve got some great things in works here at KR & The DG’s headquarters! “Headlines” has been chosen as “Coolest Song in the World” by Little Steven Van Vandt(Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band/Sopranos/Lilyhammer) for Sirius/XM radio’s Little Steven’s Underground Garage for the week of November 9th! Hear me chatting with the Mighty Manfred of The Woggles, too! Channel 21!

I’m really excite that The Connection was asked to come out to Cleveland and play at the Cleveland Auditorium for the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame’s annual “It’s Only Rock n Roll” spring benefit. Here’s a bit of the press release:
The Connection, New England’s Newest Hit Makers and 4-time “Coolest Song In The World” honorees at Little Steven Van Zandt’s Underground Garage, will perform their original, British Invasion-influenced, stripped down rock ‘n roll for an exclusive audience of 1,000 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Museum VIPs on May 10th at Cleveland’s historic Public Hall.
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) March 11, 2014
The Connection, an independent, stripped down rock ‘n roll band from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is pleased to announce its selection by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum to perform at the 11th annual “It’s Only Rock and Roll” Spring Benefit. The event, which has been dubbed Cleveland’s “Party of the Year,” will be held on Saturday, May 10th at Cleveland’s historic Public Hall, with proceeds going to support the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum’s educational activities. The Connection has been engaged to play its original, British Invasion-influenced, rock ‘n roll/power pop songs for an exclusive audience of 1,000 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum VIPS between 6PM and 8PM.
Steven Van Zandt, who will be inducted this April into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a co-founding member of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, has championed The Connection to a nationwide audience on his Sirius XM radio station, Underground Garage, and to a world-wide audience on his syndicated terrestrial radio show, Little Steven’s Underground Garage. Van Zandt named four of the band’s driving, hook and harmony-laden songs “The Coolest Song In The World” in a recent 13-month period, and has put two other Connection rockers into heavy rotation.

For a second time this month I’ve been really fortunate to get some national airplay, this time with Kurt Baker’s instant pop classic “She Can Do It All”. Check out this killer pop track and tune in to XM/Sirius Underground Garage with Little Steven to hear it in your car!
Earlier this year I recorded some piano parts on a song called “7 Nights to Rock” by New England’s newest hit makers, The Connection. Little Steven’s Underground Garage on Serius/XM radio picked the track as Coolest Song of the Week back in August and now it’s up against new releases from Aerosmith, The Beach Boys, Joe Walsh and more for Coolest Song in the World! Little Steven is Steven Van Zandt, guitar player in Bruce Springstein’s E Street Band. It’s an honor to have played on “7 Nights to Rock” and to have the song even considered the Coolest Song of the Week let along the world. Please check out the website and vote for The Connection, who just got back from a European tour this past October!
